We use a kuhn 280 vkm to maintain or improve pasture quality horses pick out the best grass to feed on, leaving less attractive species on the pasture. If this low quality grass is not shredded, it will spread through seeds or vegetative propagation. This reduces pasture quality on the whole and consequently also animal productivity.
