Welsummer
Named after the Dutch Village of Welsum, the Wellsumer is famous for its large deep brown and oftern speckled eggs pruduce around 200 eggs a year.
The Welsummer breed is freindly and intelligent chicken, they are a very adaptive bird they love to free range but are equally happy in runs. it is a very hardy breed and do well in both the hot and cold weathers.
The average life span of the Welsummer is 6 to 12 years.
Cream Legbar
The Cream Legbar is an Auto sexing breed of chicken making it easy to know what you have from day one. they also lay a blue-green egg making them very popular hen for back yard chicken keepers.
Some Cream legbars are capable of laying 280 eggs a year
Despite this the breed is considered a rare breed by the poultry club of great Britain

We currently have white and black Silkies available from march 2025 we are hoping to add to these colours over the next few months
the Slikie is a lovely Fluffy bird which is aid to feel like silk or satin hence the name Silkie.
They are well known for the friendly temperament, it it among the most docile of poultry. they are well known for there broody nature and care for young well.
Black Copper Maran
The black copper maran lays a beautiful dark brown egg almost looks like a chocolate eggs its that dark.
They have a very friendly nature and lay an average 200 eggs a year but are a hardy breed that can handle harshest of winters and still produce eggs
They do great in a free range setting and like to roam and forage for food.
